On May 27, Kathy Neustadt announced the finalists for the 2016 Neustadt International Prize for Literature to a packed house at Denver’s Lighthouse Writers Workshop just before the writers’ names were revealed on the Neustadt website. In the clip above, Kathy also speaks fondly of the legacy of her late grandmother, Doris Westheimer Neustadt (1897–1991), and the Neustadt family’s connections to the University of Oklahoma, which date to the 1940s.
