Performed for an audience of over seven hundred public school students from Oklahoma City, Norman, and Noble, the OU School of Dance and Drama production of Mia Couto’s “The Birds of God” was a beautiful blend of expressive choreography and vivid narration. Directed by Susan Shaughnessy, the musical choreo-drama was adapted from Couto’s story.
